2020 Awards & Poll Results
Hell of a year, boys!
Congratulations are in order for our 2020 Champ, Stain, who edged out the field in perhaps our most competitive season to date. We had two double digit win teams, a photo finish for ‘Most Points Scored’, two major comeback stories, and a heated push for the final two playoff spots. Now that it’s over, I’m stoked to watch some NFL football in peace without the added stress of fantasy implications. With that said, I can’t wait for 2021.
Big thanks to each and every one of you for making this tradition of ours so damn fun.
Without further adieu, here are your 2020 award winners and season poll results.
2020 Fantasy MVP - Davante Adams
No surprise here. The guy balled from start to finish, and still managed to finish as the top wideout in fantasy despite missing Weeks 3 & 4. I think it’s absolutely hilarious that the best receiver in football is a Fresno State Bulldog. Pride of the ‘Dirty No’!

Davante Adams (6)
Dalvin Cook (4)
Alvin Kamara (2)
2020 Fantasy Rookie of the Year - James Robinson
Again, no surprises here. The undrafted rookie was truly the top find this season, for both fantasy managers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. I wonder what he’ll be able to do with Trevor Lawrence under center next season.

James Robinson (10)
Justin Jefferson (2)
General Manager of the Year - Henry
Congratulations! The draft performance was unbelievable, the acquisitions of McKissic, Claypool, Herbert added ridiculous depth, and a gutsy trade reinvented the team following the loss of Dak Prescott.

Henry (7)

Best Draft - Brad & Austin
Co-Winners! Neither of these guys needed to do much at the trade table or on the waiver wire, their teams were dominant from the start. One of them just had inexplicably poor luck.

Austin (4)
Henry (3)
Worst Draft - Devon
Let’s call this year a mulligan. I’d bet Devon doesn’t go back to back with this award.

General Manager Most Rooted Against - Tom
I gotta say, I was a bit surprised by this one lol. I didn’t realize I was the perceived villain! C’mon guys! In the words of OchoCinco, “I’m not the bad guy, I love you!”.

General Manager Most Likely to be an NFL OC - Tom
Stop, you’re gonna make me blush! In case you’re curious - I’d be looking to operate with a lot of 11 personnel packages, with an inside zone rushing attack. @Devon, wanna be my DC?

What should the 49ers do at QB? - Trade for a veteran
Personally, I’d love to see what Shanahan could do with a guy like Matt Stafford. I like the idea, bolster the secondary early in the draft, get healthy up front, and see what happens.

Best Waiver Wire Add - J.D. McKissic
With our expanded rosters this season, there weren’t a plethora of notable waiver wire adds. With that said, McKissic was a really nice find in the back half.

Which draft format do you prefer? - Dynamic Auction
Check out my proposal for a Hybrid Draft if you haven’t yet. Could be fun to try something new like that before fully committing to an entirely new format.
