Power Rankings: Week 4

Welcome to October. Time to step up or step out, fellas.

  1. Chet (4-0)

    Last Week: 3rd

I don’t like this! Chetty boy finally gets his wish atop the ranks as the last remaining undefeated roster. Tyreek and A.J. need no introduction, and how bout those “forgotten” RBs? Nobody wanted to touch those 3 Bama backs with a ten foot pole on draft day, but they’ve been rolling tide lately. With Najee mostly held in check, maybe the new rook under center can be the rising tide that lifts all boats.

  2. Ryan (3-1)

    Last Week: 1st

Can we all agree these London games are a pain in the rear? At the end of the day it wouldn’t have made a difference, but the loss of Patterson is slightly unsettling. CEH has been huge thus far - he, Sutton, and Lazard will need to stay hot in order to keep this lineup dangerous. At full health, this group is as good as it gets.

  3. Case (2-2)

    Last Week: 2nd

Tough one. Let’s call the Lamar and Andrews dud a fluke. But man - trading JT? WR depth is far less of a concern now, but selling the 1.02 selection at a discount is a ballsy maneuver. All eyes will be on Chubb & Dillon from here on out, as they’ll need to produce to make up for JT’s absence. Without a first round pick, this remains a quality roster.

  4. Bacich (3-1)

    Last Week: 5th

Deebo is simply too much fun. Zeke? Not so much. How can someone with so much volume be oh so boring? It’d sure be nice to see Waller outperform TE11 too. But with Tae, 19, and Hurts leading the charge - you can’t be upset with this 3-1 start. Check yourself though - your trade offers are truly offensive to my intelligence.

  5. Kyle (2-2)

    Last Week: 4th

Despite the L, Kyle inherited a huge poker chip on Sunday following Javonte’s injury. MGIII isn’t what he used to be, but volume alone should constitute RB2 numbers. He and Jamaal Williams will be excellent spot starts for as long as their better counterparts remain sidelined. I’ll repeat what I said a few weeks ago. We’re nearly a third of the way into the season, and this remains the only team with a non-zero shot at ending the year with the QB1, RB1, and WR1.

  6. Cole (2-2)

    Last Week: 6th

Things went from 100 to 0, real mf quick. Then things went from 0 to 100, real mf quick. Losing Javonte was brutal, but selling high on JRob for CeeDee was a shrude move. And then, trading Gabe Davis & Christian Kirk for JT? Salute. I don’t know about you, but flipping two Jaguars and a playoff one-hit wonder for CeeDee Lamb and the 1.02 feels like a bank robbery.

  7. Austin (3-1)

    Last Week: 7th

No Amon-Ra, no problem! TJ Hock recorded one of the best TE weeks of all time, and even Rashaad Nickel got in on the action. Losing CeeDee burns big time, but betting heavy on a RB who’d seen 20+ touches in consecutive weeks isn’t completely unwise. Had DK’s cart ride been anything other than a potty emergency, the Stain may have soiled his pants himself. Points were pretty tough to come by until Week 4, hence the 7th overall ranking.

  8. Devon (2-2)

    Last Week: 8th

There’s the Ekeler & Lenny we’ve come to know and love. Both workhorses finally found paydirt, and now Dobbins appears to be Baltimore’s top dawg once more. A nice week from Michael Pittman would go a long ways towards reinstalling confidence in this lineup. But hey - Future’s ex wife’s new husband finally had a sensational Sunday! (This was written on Tuesday - shake it off).

  9. Tom (1-3)

    Last Week: 12th

You can put it on the boooaarrdd…YES! The bagel is gone, and all of a sudden there’s a ray of light in this deep dark cave! Breece Hall and Dameon Pearce are ascending v quickly, Jettas bounced back in tremendous fashion, and Mike Evans balled out after the NFL put him on timeout. Don’t count me out just yet, gentlebrothers.

  10. Henry (1-3)

    Last Week: 9th

Shame on you for owning two kickers. In all seriousness, Week 4 was a toughie but its not scary o’clock yet. The RBs are not deep, but they can be relied upon. Hollywood Brown has been a star, and it’ll be intriguing to see what his usage looks like following Nuk’s return. But if the injury bug bites, who comes off the bench?

  11. Z (1-3)

    Last Week: 10th

The Unit also fell victim to the dreaded London 6:30AM game, though Michael Thomas’ goose egg is easier to stomach considering the blowout matchup. 1-3 is bunk city, but the oft disrespected Miles Sanders is an irrefutable RB1 now. If Dalvin and Conner can start living up to expectations, Z will sleep much easier.

  12. Brad (0-4)

    Last Week: 11th

Uh oh, spaghettio! Without Swift and Keenan, this is a roster compiled of excellent 1Bs - the 1As just happen to be on other teams. Ja’Marr I see, the less I like - which isn’t exactly true, but the Tee Higgins stat comps aren’t exactly reassuring. Mahomie has been carrying is weight, and Tyler Lockett has been an under-the-radar stud, but that’s where the good news ends.
